In Dubai, foreign nationals can apply for a long-term residency visa that's called (GOLDEN VISA). They can apply in multiple categories, let's have a look for a better understanding.

Foreign nationalists can apply for a 10-year golden visa without a sponsor on the following basis.

1) If his or her investment portfolio in Dubai is approx. Dh2 million. 

2) Company owner in Dubai who pays tax of not less than Dh2,50,000 annually to the Federal Tax Authority.

3) Five-year Golden Visa option is available for an individual who owns properties worth Dh2  million or more in the UAE.

4) Senior Employees such as (Executive Director or an Advisor) appointed by an investor in public investment are entitled to apply for a Golden Visa and need no sponsor.

Non Investment Option for Golden Visa Category

1) Any retired foreigner who is at least 55 years old and has a Dh1 million investment or income of Dh15,000 per month can apply for a long-term residency visa.

2) Skillful, Specialized, or a researcher in the field of science, professionals such as Doctors, Scientists, inventors, as well as creative individuals from cultural and artistic backgrounds are also eligible for a 10-year Golden Visa.

3) Individuals who fall under the aforesaid categories are also eligible for Golden Visa.
